Service Details and Scope
This page provides supplementary information about how the Meabowcair system operates, what it covers, and what users can reasonably expect when engaging with it.
Scope of the Information System
Meabowcair is designed as a general-purpose information-organisation environment. The system is not domain-specific in a narrow sense — it can handle digital content of various formats and subjects, provided that content has been ingested and classified according to the system's rules.
The practical scope of what any individual user can access depends on their access level, the categories they have been given access to review, and the content that has been classified within those categories at the time of their session.
We do not publish a public index of all available content categories, as the content set changes over time. Users who wish to understand whether the system contains information relevant to their needs should describe those needs in an enquiry via the contact form.
Access Levels and Conditions
Access to Meabowcair is not uniform. The review interface includes areas that are available to all users who have completed the enquiry process, and areas that require additional confirmation before access is extended.
The following table describes the general access structure, though the specific categories available at each level are not detailed here and may change:
| Access level | What it covers | How it is obtained |
|---|---|---|
| Standard review | General classified content within the user's nominated categories | Completed enquiry and team confirmation |
| Extended review | Additional content categories or deeper classification branches | Follow-up request assessed by the support team |
| Support access | Guidance content and interface documentation | Available to all users who have completed the initial process |
Session Behaviour
Each review session within Meabowcair is treated as a discrete interaction. Session history — the record of which items have been viewed within the current session — is maintained for the duration of that session. It is not automatically carried over to subsequent sessions.
Users who need to maintain continuity between sessions should note their position within the classification hierarchy before ending a session, so that they can return to the same point on their next visit.
No content entered by users into the review interface during a session is stored by the system unless explicitly submitted through a support or enquiry channel.
Technical Environment
The Meabowcair review interface is designed for use on current-generation web browsers. The specific browser and device requirements are confirmed during the access process. As a general principle, the interface is expected to function correctly on commonly used desktop and mobile browsers when those browsers are kept reasonably up to date.
The public website — the pages you are currently viewing — has no significant technical requirements beyond a standard web browser. It does not use external JavaScript libraries and does not require any browser extensions or plugins.
Support and Response Expectations
Support for the Meabowcair platform is provided by a small team accessible via the enquiry form and by email. We handle enquiries in order of receipt. We do not publish a standard response time, as this varies with volume.
For enquiries that require a straightforward answer, users can often expect a response within a few working days. For access requests or more complex questions, the process may take longer, particularly if clarification is needed before a meaningful response can be provided.
The support team does not provide advice on matters outside the scope of the Meabowcair platform. Enquiries that relate to other services or organisations will not be forwarded on your behalf.
Limitations of the System
Meabowcair is an information-organisation tool. It is not a research service, a verification service, or a source of independently checked facts. The content available within the system has been classified and arranged, but classification does not in itself constitute an endorsement or verification of the information's accuracy.
Users should approach the information available through Meabowcair with the same critical assessment they would apply to any other digital information source. Where information is significant to a decision, we recommend seeking verification from additional sources.
